I have turned on Disable product visibility in settings.
I have created users and groups, and set up categories visible to specific groups.
We are using a product called WooCommerce Product Tables
This product has a category filter. Under normal circumstances, this will show all available categories and when a sub category is selected, a filter is applied to only show those products in the table.
The problem arises when I added B2B King, and I add a person to a group and that group to a category, none of the sub categories show up in the wcpt plugin category selector.
When a user group is added to a category, do they not also gain access to sub categories?
Ok, it turns out you do not inherit permission from the parent category, you have to go into each category and set the visibility there. I have done that and now the sub categegories show up as expected.
Yes, permissions are for each subcategory/category so they have to be set individually.
Just to let you know, in case you have a large nr. of categories, there's a tool in B2BKing->Tools->Bulk to set all categories as visible for all (in case it helps you get things set up faster).
Our situation:
We have a hybrid B2B/B2C website

Hi Steve,
Thank you for purchasing our plugin,
