Hi i was wondering if this plugin could do dynamic pricing based on user roles. So for example all products with tag 'tag1' would get 20% discount for all logged in users. But if a user was logged in as a role 'tag1extra' could they get a 5% discount on that already discounted price.
In addition the user with a role 'tag1extra' would also have other multiple roles which would apply specific discounts to other discounted product tags.
- The plugin does not do discounts based on role. It can do discounts based on GROUP. Groups are something b2bking adds and you can configure unlimited groups through the plugin, and assign users to them. 1 user can be part of only 1 group however.
- The plugin cannot do discounts based on tags. It can do discounts directly on the item, on all items, or based on category.
In your example:
Yes, you could create a 20% discount rule for all logged in users. You could also create another rule to give 25% discount for a specific group, so users logged in that belong to that group would get a 5% bigger discount. B2BKing checks all discounts that apply, and gives the user the biggest discount / best price they have access to.
