I am looking to see if I can add multiple pricing rules to a product.
I have a product that sells in each, half dozen, and dozen. I have created 1 product and have product variation by color, size, and unit (each, half dozen, and dozen). However, I am seeing a lot of performance issues with having too many variations for a product on a page.
I have decided to create 2 products (one for each and one for a multiple of 6) per product. However, I'd still like to have 1 product for 1 product. The only way I see this working is by having multiple product rules applied.
The pricing rule will be as follows:
Anything orders less than 6 items can be ordered each.
Anything orders greater than 6 will require multiples of 6.
Thank you for the quick reply. The reason why the price tiers of 1, 6, and 12 will not work is that we sell in 2 different units:
Individual
Half Dozen Packs
We were hoping to have 2 separate inventory: half dozen or individual units. Our goal is to apply 2 rules:
All items in multiples of 6 will have a set price of x
Any remainder (individual units) will have a set price of y
For example, if the order is 39 items. We will fulfill the order with 6 half dozen packs and 3 individual units. The way we want to calculate the order price is
Individual Unit Price = $4 Half Dozen Unit Price = $20
The pricing rule will be as follows:
Anything orders less than 6 items can be ordered each.
Anything orders greater than 6 will require multiples of 6.
You can set up the following rule:
The effects are:
1)
2)
There is no way in rules to set something for a remainder. But you can set rules with "product quantity" conditions like the one above.

Hi Jeff,
You can use price tiers.
You can create 1 product with tiers of 1, 6 & 12
I have attached a picture to see how I'm using it.

Ivy
