Hidden products are showing in search results from the search field in the main body of the page. A search from the search field in the header does not show the same result. In a search for "no waste" the Farm Supply product "Wild Bird No Waste" appears which is set to be hidden from all but the "farm.supply" user. The link does not go to the product, however having it in the search results is unacceptable. Are there steps I can take to eliminate it from the search results?
This occurs when all but B2BKing and woocommerce plugins are deactivated.
I apologize for the delayed reply - we are dealing with a high volume of tickets at the moment.
I looked at the site and ran a few tests, but I'm afraid I can't seem to figure out where the "search field in the main body of the page" is. Or did you remove that in the meantime?
If I search and press "enter" to see the results page I am not seeing the product you mentioned:
I might be missing it, sorry, could you give me more details about where I can see the issue?
Yes, when I didn't hear back I thought I should keep working toward a solution so removed the search from the body of the page. The search bar under the menu has the same issue, but the search within the Bulk Order Form works as expected. I'm hoping to get the search bar under the menu working the same as the one in the Bulk Order Form. I've added two screenshots, one as a generic wholesale user and one logged in as a Farm Supply account user for reference.
I've spent some time searching the internet for clues to why this is happening. It appears to be a woocommerce bug. However, the way you are doing search in the Bulk Order Form fixes the issue.
Please let me know if you need other materials in support of resolving this.
I can see the problem now. I see that you are using FiboSearch - that's a custom search with its own mechanisms for caching, speed, getting items, etc, so there are often conflicts between such plugins and B2BKing's visibility.
We have been in contact with the team from FiboSearch, who have told us integration with B2BKing has been added in
= 1.8.2, February 06, 2021 =
However, this may not be the case for the plugin's free version - I can ask them if you'd like, but other than that, without their help it will probably not be possible to make the 2 plugins work together.
