Would it be possible to bulk edit the category to be visible for logged in user and not visible for guests and then change the visibility for guest per category?
I have about 100 categories don't want to manually change all of them, as this takes while and the website is live..
When a new category is added during a product creations (almost with every new product in my website). The category is set on visible to nobody. Would it be possible to set this to visible to logged in users?
Unfortunately, because of how the visibility function is built, there are some limitations to getting this to work like that - we would need to make some major changes to how visibility is set in the database.
I don't know if this helps, but if you have many categories, you can configure visibility in bulk in B2BKing -> Tools -> Bulk Editor
I don't see the texts from the dropdown menu in Loco Translate.
Where can I translate these options?
- All categories visible to ALL - All categories NOT visible to ALL - All categories visible to B2C - All categories NOT visible to B2C - All categories visible to LOGGED OUT USERS - All categories NOT visible to LOGGED OUT USERS
The version I sent you with this functionality is just a development version, it is not a final version, and not yet available on CodeCanyon.
Once we finalize this version and submit it to CodeCanyon, we will recompile the translation file (has to be done with each change), and then these strings will become available for translation via Loco Translate.
If shop and products are hidden for guest (in settings).
Would it be possible to show a selection of products for guests?
Hi Emile,
You can show only a selection of products to guests, but not with the 'Hide Shop & Products' option enabled.
To do that you would have to:
- first change 'Hide Shop & Products' and set it to 'None'.
- then you can configure product visibility by product/category. Please see our guide here for configuring product visibility: https://woocommerce-b2b-plugin.com/docs/faq-product-visibility-is-not-working-how-to-set-up-product-visibility/
Kind regards,
Stefan
That sounds good.

Hi Stefan,
That is perfect, thanks!
I presume this option will remain in the plugin, so when you release a new version later on, I can update without losing these options?
Kind regards,
Emile
Happy to hear that helps,
Yes, this option will remain in the plugin for future updates.
