How do I add a user to multiple groups?

I use groups for business.  If a customer works at more than one business they need to purchase (in my case) uniforms for each business where the visibility of the products are tied to the group.

    Hi Tad,

Thank you for purchasing the plugin,

The way the plugin works is that the group determines which prices/taxes/conditions a user gets. Therefore it's not possible for a user to be part of multiple groups, just like it's not possible for a user to have 2 different prices for a product at the same time, or for a user to see prices both incl. tax and excl. tax at the same time.

If I understand correctly, your customers are some kind of intermediaries or agents that are purchasing on behalf of businesses. Is it possible perhaps to have a special group for these customers, where they have access to all products ?

Or would a sales agents / sales reps plugin be helpful to you? We are working on an agents plugin (expecting to release it next week) where each agent has their own dashboard, customers, can place orders for customers, etc.

    Kind regards,

    Stefan

The sales agent plugin is interesting to me.  Our primary market is police/fire/ems/security uniforms and equipment and we have a person in each department that is in-charge of ordering and following up on uniform orders for employees.  If I could set them up as an agent to oversea the department orders that would be great.  Does that plugin show the agent any wholesale info or is it set up where I could use it like this and they would not see any of my supplier or cost information?

    That plugin works as follows:

    - Individual customers or B2BKing customer groups can be assigned to an agent (an agent can have multiple groups assigned to them)

    - Agents can place orders on behalf of customers assigned to them. The agent can pay directly, or choose "pending payment" at checkout and then the customers are sent a payment link by email.

    - There is a plugin setting (optional) that allows agents to also manage orders (to have backend access to the order screen, be able to set the order as completed, generate the invoice etc. full backend control over the specific order)

Does that plugin show the agent any wholesale info or is it set up where I could use it like this and they would not see any of my supplier or cost information?

I'm not sure how your site is setup, but I don't think there's any reason agents should see supplier or cost info. The only backend site access agents have is backend access to individual orders (IF setting is enabled).

Of course, agents do see frontend data such as Item price (as visible to the customer)

    Hope this makes sense,
