I am just trying to understand how the plugin works. So the plugin modifies the product named offer and adds that to an order? That is why the SKU of the individual items are not passed through to the actual order?
Yes, the plugin uses the 'Offer' product and sets certain parameters (metadata) to each offer that's added to cart, which determine the offer price, name, products etc.
There are also some integrations with regular products: for example, based on the products in the offer, the plugin will then decrease the stock quantities of those products.
I don't know if there's any way we can have the actual SKUs of the products be present in the final order.
Can I ask what you're trying to achieve? perhaps there's a workaround or some other way we can do it.
Hi, the client is using "fishbowl" for inventory management. Their concern is that when the offer is converted to an order they lose the SKU of the product and fishbowl doesn't like it.
Hmm, I'm wondering if there may be any way for Fishbowl to sync stock, from WooCommerce stock.
Since our plugin already handles WooCommerce stock correctly, perhaps there's some kind of option for Fishbowl to simply take the stock from the WooCommerce item stock?
when converting an offer to an order, SKU11 replaces the actual SKU
Hi Tim,
I believe you can resolve this by following these steps:
1. Deactivate the B2BKing plugin. This makes the offer products editable.
2. Go to Products in the site backend and find the 'Offer' product.
3. You should now be able to edit that product, change its SKU and save it.
4. Reactivate B2BKing.
Does that resolve it for you?
Kind regards,
Stefan
