Is there a chance to create a retail market.There is one account for customers. The customer can put their products up for sale and, if they wish, buy other users' products. I want to buy used items for sale in the market. I don't want the customer to have to choose a role when registering. I think I have to choose between a seller and a buyer when creating an account.

Yes, a user can be both a buyer and a seller on the marketplace. The only restriction is that a user cannot buy their own products.
The registration is configurable and it is not necessary for users to choose a role. It can be configured in many ways. In order to be able to sell, each user has to be enabled as a vendor - however this can also be done automatically if you'd like.
