Hi, is it possible to enable backorders for all products by default? At the moment it looks like I have to go into each product/variation to enable backorders and notifications

    Thanks

    Hi there,

Are you using B2BKing's 'Separate B2B & B2C stock' feature? and if so, then are you trying to enable backorders for all products, for B2B users only?

Or do you generally want to enable backorders for all products and users, b2b and b2c?

    Kind regards,

    Stefan

I enabled theĀ 'Separate B2B & B2C stock', however, it appears that I need to enable backorders for each variation.

I don't need a separate stock for B2B, just backorders enabled for B2B only. If that is possible?

There's currently no option for this, but I agree it would make sense to have a setting to allow enabling backorders globally, without having to go into each product's settings.

I would like to get back to you here with another message with this update as soon as it's ready. We are trying to add this during this week.

That's great, thanks. Will that notify customers that a product that is out of stock will be on backorder?

Not yet, sorry. We would need an extra toggle/setting to notify users or not. Will look into adding that in future versions.
