I see that you entered 1,7 , but then when you entered a dot (.), then the red message is displayed, letting you know the dot is not allowed. So only the comma is accepted, this seems correct.
I see there is also 1.4 in your screenshot. If you click on 'Update' to save the product, I think 1.4 will change automatically to 1,4. This is what happens in our tests.
Thanks for reply, I know it can save, but it's bit of annoying for my staffs to input price, sometimes goes by coma, sometimes goes by dot, though it's not serious issue, but just want to check it up :)

as you can see from my screenshot , my system is set to use , (coma) as decimal separator , but the tier price doesn't accept coma , but only dot
