    Hello :)

I have a jewelry wholesale line I am setting up online.

I have multiple suppliers.  Is there any option in your plugin to have supplier entered for each product?  Then when I download my inventory I can sort by supplier?

    Thank you

    Nancy

    Hi Nancy,

We don't have any option in B2BKing for suppliers unfortunately.

I would suggest maybe looking at using "Tags" or "Categories" for it if that could make sense.

(you could also see those when you download products and then sort in a spreadsheet)

    Kind regards,

    Stefan

In your plugin, is there the option to hide the tag or category from the customer XYZ?

The default B2BKing behaviour is:  if a product is part of at least 1 visible category, the product will be visibile

he setting "Hidden has priority" reverses this, so that: if a product is part of at least 1 hidden category, the product will be hidden|

This gives me the idea I can have a hidden Categories called Supplier A, Suppier B, Supplier C etc ... and as long as I have a visible category called Animals and have Product A in that visible category Animals... Product A should still be visible?

I just need to set Supplier A, B, C to invisible to Customer XYZ and set Animals to visible for Customer XYZ?

    Yes, that's correct.

May I ask what are you trying to achieve? Is the goal here to hide the categories themselves? E.g. would you like that when the customer's browsing the shop they don't see the categories in menus / shop pages?

For this, it will help to go to B2BKing -> Settings -> Other and enable 'Product Visibility Cache" - this setting can completely hide categories in most places.

    Kind regards,

    Stefan

I have a wholesale jewelry line and I have multiple suppliers.  To reorder, I need to be able to sort the products by supplier.

I think I found a way.. Info Label.. only visible to me as the admin person, not to my customers who I put in a different group??

I'm thinking that you may be able to use Tags and hide those tags from the front-end:

    https://www.websitebuilderinsider.com/how-do-i-hide-tags-on-woocommerce-product-page/

    It says here:

One way to hide tags on WooCommerce product pages is to use the “Hide Tags” setting in the WooCommerce settings. To do this, go to WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Product Tags. Then, check the box next to “Hide Tags”.

The article also references some ways to hide specific tags only.

I dont want to hide the tags, sometimes it triggers my customers to do a new search for products.. sales go up.

I have done a test using info labels, looks like it might work?

I need supplier for each sku.

I am not sure what you mean by "info labels" here - I don't know if that's a standard WooCommerce feature - it would help if you shared a screenshot.
