When registering, user name seems to be taken from the email address. How can the user name be edited? I need to set up and register company accounts in advance as admin. I don't want accounts registered from the website - I need to create them and then email login credential to the user.

To do that we would advise to go to Users -> Add New and configure the username and email manually there:
There when you configure the user you can also choose a B2B group:
Basically if you choose B2B group here the customer becomes a B2B customer and it is the same as if the customer registered via the website frontend.
