We're a small telecoms company selling recurring phone call plans and hardware such as phones and headsets. I'm trying to work out which of your products is better suited for our requirements.
We have a Partner Program with 3 partner types:
(1) Referral partner - someone who just wants to refer one or two customers to us and receive a once off commission for each referral;
(2) Approved Partner - suitable for IT companies who refer their customers to our products and services and may have continued sales management for the customers they refer; and
(3) Alliance Partner - suitable for industry associations and buying groups who have a membership base that they promote our products and service to but we look after the sales process internally.
Physical products commission is a fixed percentage % of the product price; Recurring plans commission is a fixed price once off commission and/or a % of the recurring plan subscription price.
We're using WooCommerce Subscriptions for customers to place orders and pay for any physical product, however billing for recurring subscription plan 'call usage charges' is managed by another billing system which we manage internally.
Can you please guide us on which of your plugin's is closest to meeting our requirements? And do you have an API if we need to import commissions into your plugin for commissions on recurring subscription plans?
If configuring and managing commissions is what you mostly need, then SalesKing would be better suited for that.
B2BKing is mostly for configuring different terms for different customer types for business customers (e.g. different prices , minimum order quantities, tiered pricing, invoice gateway, custom quotes etc). It does not have any referral / commissions functionality.
With SalesKing, you can set up a fixed % or fixed value commission on orders. However there's no feature for recurring commissions.
There is no API but it is feasible for a developer to add commissions programmatically. This code https://pastecode.io/s/qkz0h7ib can add commissions on a specific order. If you have a developer working on setting up a commissions import, we'll be happy to assist them with any info needed and code snippets to add or edit commissions,
