Unfortunately it's not possible for that feature to work for B2C users in the Hybrid mode.
The way the plugin was designed was to prevent a large amount of B2B code to run for B2C users, also for performance reasons.
It may be best to just set the shop to "B2B Shop" mode. That way all features are available to all users.
