    Does the Agent receive an email when an order is placed?
    What type of email do you receive?
    The same as the Customer receives?
    Is the email type for the Agent editable for any changes?

    If an Agent is added to the order by the Administrator, does the new Agent receive this email?
    What if an Agent is changed? Does the new Agent receive the email?

    Hi Rui,

    It's possible to enable this setting in SalesKing -> Settings:

    When this setting is enabled, the agent receives the same "new order" email that the admin normally receives. It's the "new order #order number" email. Indeed, it fires when a new order is placed.


    You can edit its PHP template, but it will also be edited for the admin receiving it in the backend.


    The email is sent only when the order is first placed - it is not sent if the agent is added to an already existing order or if the agent of an order is changed.

    Okay,

    That's very good, then.

    But it seems to me that the emails are not going out! I have done tests on myself and asked the Agents and they are not receiving emails from the orders, assigned to the Agents.

    Can you check this?

    Please try to see if the emails exist in the email log, using a free email log plugin like this one:

    If the emails exist in the log, then they are being sent out, but not reaching their destination. This is a very common problem that can be solved by adding and configuring a SMTP plugin on your site: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/

    I already had an SMTP plugin, however I followed your steps.

    But I as an Agent (tests) am not receiving the purchase order email!

    I do not know what could be generating this conflict!

    Is the email not present in the mailing log? 

    And can you please clarify, is the agent assigned to the customer or the customer's group? Or is this for example for logged out users / one-time purchases? This feature was built for the situation where the customer or their group is permanently assigned to an agent.

    I'm not sure I understand your question.

    But to be an Agent you have to be loaded in the user group.

    I don't know if I managed to explain in my last post.

    But the Agent is not receiving the order emails just like the Customer.

    Are you still analysing the problem?

    I don't know if it is foreseen for Guests, but if the order is assigned to the Agent even as a Guest, the email should also go out to the Agent.

    Hello,

    Yes, as a matter of fact I checked later on, that clients as Guests, were not registered in the database and therefore did not have access to an existing client!

    I solved to create all as Clients instead of Guests, but I will use your update.

    I'm giving this issue as solved
