I have different customer categories and I want to assign a % commission for each category per sales rep. I also want to be able to assign a certain % of the sales reps earnings to the sales manager based on the same customer category. Commission will be based on cart total excluding fees and shipping.
If you use both our B2BKing and SalesKing plugins, you can achieve that as follows:
1) Create customer groups in B2BKing -> Groups and assign each customer to a group per your needs
2) In SalesKing -> Commission rules you can configure different commissions % for different groups:
(in the above screenshot you can see how you can select a B2B group when creating a commission rule)
Regarding setting a % of earnings for the sales manager, it's possible in SalesKing to create a rule where the parent agent (manager in this case) gets a % of the agent's earnings.
So for example you can create a rule like this to give the sales manager 10% of agents' earnings:
If the agent has a $100 commission, the manager would get $10.
This is strictly based on the earnings of the agent, it's not set directly based on the customer category. But of course, this would also be different if the % commission of the agent is different for different customers,
