there are the fields Outstanding Balance, Available Credit and Credit Limit.
I know that to assign a credit limit I must enter the user settings and place this limit there.
But my question is, at what moment is the Outstanding Balance activated and displayed, after what action? I suppose that the Outstanding Balance should be shown to the b2b client, when the wordpress admin, go to conversations, open the Custom Quote Request ticket, change the status to resolved, and publish. It's the most logical, isn't it?
But apparently it does not change like this, neither the Outstanding Balance, nor the Available Credit.
Can you explain to me when these values are modified there?
If you cannot get that to show, we can also check the issue directly if you would like. For that, we would need a backend login to the site or a staging clone site, so we can troubleshoot and look into this.

Hi there,
The credit limit is the maximum amount a user can purchase on credit (without paying).
The outstanding balance is how much the user has consumed (if the value is negative, it means they owe you that amount).
For example:
Here the customer has maximum $8000 credit limit
The customer uses credit to buy products for $3000.
Now the available credit is $5000 (because they already used 3000, and the outstanding balance is -3000).
When a user starts, the outstanding balance is 0. They do not owe you anything and you do not owe them anything.
It changes when the customer makes their first purchase on credit. If the customer purchases $100 products with credit, the balance will become -$100.
I hope that makes sense but let me know if you have any questions,
Kind regards,
Stefan
How do you execute a purchase on credit? Please tell me the step by step.
To purchase on credit, a customer will add products to cart, go to checkout, and choose the "Company Credit" payment method:
If do you not see the method in checkout:
-> Please make sure the company credit gateway is enabled in WooCommerce -> Settings -> Payments
-> Please make sure the company credit gateway is enabled in B2BKing -> Groups for each group.
You still haven't finished explaining all the steps to me, yes, I have "Company Credit" active.
I need you to continue explaining what step follows, to buy by credit. Until i can see the Outstanding Balance and
Available Credit changed.
There are no other steps - or perhaps I am misunderstanding your question.
I took a quick video showing how this works: https://www.loom.com/share/98c3e7a3b3f14d63ab66d7d431f57881?sid=87331112-4265-4eec-a891-6534b80225dd
You can see at the beginning of the video:
Outstanding balance: 0
Available credit: 1000
At the end of the video:
Outstanding balance: -200
Available credit: 800
Thanks for the explanation, that's what I wanted to know.
But then the plugin that I have is not showing the way to select the credit at checkout.
I already activated from Woocommerce > payments - all b2b payment methods with credit.
But it still does not show at checkout to choose payment by credit.
What could I be missing?
Please also check in B2BKing -> Groups that the credit method is enabled for that group:

Yes, exactly, I was missing that, thank you very much for your correct answers.
Awesome, glad to hear that worked! If there's anything else I can help with, please let me know.
