I don’t want to offer the same quantity offer to all customers… I need to be able to offer different groups of customers a different quantity discount so tiered pricing would not work as it offers it to everyone doesn’t it?
Regarding tiered pricing, you can also configure different tiered price rules for different groups:
It is not the same for everyone.
Regarding discount rules: those can also be used. There's probably some kind of configuration issue. I would need a screenshot of each rule's configuration to be able to say what the problem is.
You can configure 2 rules, like this:
1 rule for 1-5 quantity:
1 rule for 6+
The price of the product on my test site is 100.
With 1 item in cart, the price becomes 90 because of the 1-5 rule:
I have checked the products and they are in the italy category.
When i tried to set the rule just by product I started typing cortef into the search but no products at all come up but I exported the B2Bking price list and they are all on the system ok?
No idea why it isn't working? I also tried to set up the rules on your demo site and it did not work on there either?
Did you find out why this was not working by any chance?
Assuming this does work then I am happy to convert my recent purchase into a 12 month support for $99 or whatever the price was and for you hold the balance as a credit in my account?
One issue is that the search does not work in product or variation.. whether you search by the product name or the number allocated by B2BKing. I can see that when I select all products the Cortefresca Pinot Grigio White is there (B2BKing number 4241). I am totally confused as to why the discount does not work.. I also tried it with tier pricing as you suggested but that did not work either.
It's possible to enable that in settings, I enabled it now in B2BKing -> Settings -> Other -> Dynamic rules: replace product dropdown.
Now you can search for each product by name:
(2) When testing discounts, I see that if I add more than 5 items to cart, the category discounts are applied:
I placed that order to test, and I see the prices in cart are the same as the final prices:
That rule is not configured well, because since it's for each category, if multiple categories are in cart, each discount is applied and the total is 0.
3) I modified your rules in order to try and achieve this:
buy 1 -5 bottles of a product and get 10% and buy 6 or more and get of the same product and get 35%
Now I see that we have a 10% discount for 1-5 items in the Italy category, + a 35% discount when there are 6+ items in cart.
I have just changed the rule to product cortefresca ppinot grigio only and for guest users and the discount does not show. It should say 35% for the 6 bottles and 10% for the single bottle?
Just looked at your video and I see that you are placing an order as a customer whereas I am placing an order on the back end manually which is how a lot of our wholesale customers orders will be placed as they message them to us rather than going online?
So I have just run a test and it is exactly that.. the discount works if entered via the front end as a customer but when entered manually by admin on the back end it does not work?
Our plugin can apply group prices and *some* dynamic rules on the backend, but not all rules. In this case, that rule is based on the quantity in cart. Since here the cart is not being used, the conditions do not work.
In this case, I'd suggest to place the order as the customer via the frontend: this way all rules and conditions would work normally.
Also please can you transfer my license to my new web site that is being constructed. You have been sent a user admin request this afternoon from the developer.
We are very close to going live with our new site so this is very urgent please.
I am having an issue with the price displayed for a guest user. Here is an example of a product that is just on the website for any guest/browser to see. The price is correct (it is the regular price in the product in woocommerce) but I cannot get the price to say including VAT?
When I am logged in as myself (B2B user) the prices are displayed as per the settings - B2B Users to see their price and the B2C regular Retail price
This is the product in the backend and you can see the price is set up as £8.99 for regular price (which is the RRP price including VAT) and £7.49 for the B2B price (excluding VAT).
When I set the settings to show VAT inclusive or exclusive, it changed the retail price to show 8.99 ex vat for for non logged in customers (guests) as opposed to including VAT. It appears that the plugin is treating the regular price as vat exclusive which it is not? That should say Incl VAT
Also am I able to get the special prices and discounts to show as the special low price automatically when a customer logs into their account?
Can I get this discount to automatically say £6.49 on the item line of the cart and also so it says 6.49 as their wholesale price on the order page above
Are you looking to enter B2C prices as including VAT, and the B2B price as excluding VAT?
So in the above screenshot 8.99 is the value inc. vat for B2C, and 7.49 is the value ex. vat for B2B?
Logged out users should see 8.99 inc. vat?
Logged in B2B should see retail: 8.99 inc vat, wholesale: 7.49 ex VAT.
Please confirm if the above are correct, as I'd need to adjust the site tax settings.

For discount rules to be applied directly to the price, you must enable this checkbox in your rules:
To transfer a license between 2 sites, it would be needed to:
(1) Step 1
Click on "Deactivate" here, so the license is removed from the current website:
(2) Step 2
Go to the new website, login to the backend, go to B2BKing -> Settings -> License and activate the key (which was deactivated during step 1) on the new website.
We cannot do it directly from our end, because it needs to be activated on the new website, in the website's own database.
Can't get this simple discount to work ... buy 1 -5 bottles of a product and get 10% and buy 6 or more and get of the same product and get 35%
Hi Richard,
To configure a 10% discount for 1-5 items, and 35% for 6+, the simplest way is probably to use tiered pricing.
You can follow these steps:
1. Activate the % setting here in B2BKing -> Settings -> Tiered -> Enter % Instead of Prices
2. Create a tiered price rule where you select the product or category:
This also displays a table with quantities and discounts:
Kind regards,
Stefan
is the dynamic rule feature not working then?
I also tried on the demo site and also tried it with cart spend but that didn’t work either?
cheers

Hi Stefan
These are the 2 rules but they are not discounting any product that I raise an order for as you can see in the bottom image?
In that order, the discount should be applied based on the 35% discount rule.
I'm not sure what the issue is. I tested with that same rule on my local test site but that seems to work for me.
I configured the rule:
-> in cart I can see the category discount:
Are you sure the products in your order are part of the categories selected in the rule there?
We can check it directly on your site if you'd like. For that, would you be able to share a backend login to the site or a staging clone site?

Assuming this does work then I am happy to convert my recent purchase into a 12 month support for $99 or whatever the price was and for you hold the balance as a credit in my account?
Thank you, that works, however I am not able to access the site backend to check rules and configuration.
I would need the user to have admin backend permissions, so I can troubleshoot and work on the issue. Can you look into that please?
Sorry Stefan.. done that now

Please can you sort the support subscription out for me now as per the message last week? Many thanks.

Hi
I cannot get the retail price to show incl VAT .. it keeps saying EX VAT
Also please can you transfer my license to my new web site that is being constructed. You have been sent a user admin request this afternoon from the developer.
The test site is being built at https://evertons.steak-festival.com/wp-admin/ before being moved onto www.evertons.co.uk where the redundant current site is currently live.
Hi Stefan

Hi Richard,
(1)
I am confused about the pricing setup.
For the product https://evertons.co.uk/product/cortefresca-pinot-grigio/
Are you looking to enter B2C prices as including VAT, and the B2B price as excluding VAT?
So in the above screenshot 8.99 is the value inc. vat for B2C, and 7.49 is the value ex. vat for B2B?
Logged out users should see 8.99 inc. vat?
Logged in B2B should see retail: 8.99 inc vat, wholesale: 7.49 ex VAT.
Please confirm if the above are correct, as I'd need to adjust the site tax settings.
