Setting up quantity-based product discounts from a category

    Hello!

I am having difficulty configuring quantity-based discounts for a product from a category.

This is the configuration I have made:
    In Dynamic Rules

    Rule Type: Discount (Percentage);
Applies to: Select products & categories
    For Who: Select multiple options
    How much: 5
Calculated Discounted Price Becomes Sale Price: unselect
    Conditions:
    Product Quantity greater (>) 9

    What I expected to happen:
I expected the discount to be applied to the product from the category that has more than 9 units in the shopping cart. What is happening is that if I have two products from the same category, one with 10 units and another with 1 unit, the discount is also being applied to the product with 1 unit (or to the total cart value, I'm not sure).

How to configure it to be easy to manage:
    1. Offer discounts when a product has more than X units in the cart from a category (not product by product).
    2. When multiple products from the same category are added, the discount should only apply to products that have the number of units required to qualify for the discount.

    Hello Pedro,

The way this functionality works is that the category conditions only apply to categories, and the product conditions only apply to products. For example:

(Here "Clothing" is a category, it only follows the category conditions. "Test Product" is a product, it only follows the product conditions)

If you have a rule where you select a category, and set a "product quantity" condition, the condition does not do anything, because that condition only applies for products.

Is your goal to set a discount only for specific products, only when those products have > 9 qty?

You would need to select each product individually, and set the product condition:

(if you select categories, not products, the product condition does not apply to the category).

    I hope that makes sense,

    Kind regards,

    Stefan

When creating a new rule, I have chosen "Select multiple products & categories". The products that show up under "Products (individual)" do not display variation details. How do I get it to display the variation details in this list so that I can select the variations I want? See attached image.

    Hello Matthew,

Please check that you already have the latest B2BKing Pro 5.1.70 version. Based on the issue you're seeing, it sounds like you may have an older one.

Other than that, it is hard to say what it could be - sometimes there can be conflicts or issues with how the variable products are set up. We can help troubleshoot this directly. For that, kindly please open a separate ticket and our team will assist in more detail,
