Hi there, we're setting up a b2b store for a customer and they sell over 10K yearly abroad, so in The Netherlands that means you have the obligation to show on the invoice that the vat is shifted. is this something that can be done with your plugin or should we try to do this with the invoice plugin from wp overnight?
You could use this method to set a tax exemption for specific countries only, and you can also check if the customer has a valid VAT number through automatic VIES validation.
Regarding showing that on the invoice, you can get it to show as VAT 0 on the invoice.
To do this, in WooCommerce -> Settings -> Tax, set display tax totals: as a single total.
Then you will have a separate line with VAT 0
and it will also show as VAT 0 on the invoice:
I'm not sure if you're looking for something more detailed such as showing a text like "VAT obligation is shifted". For that, you would need to edit the PHP template of the invoice, we do not have a direct feature for this in the plugin.
Thanks for the help.. got it to work somewhat.. one more thing.. the B2B registration fields that we use, VAT and Chamber of commerce, show up twice on the invoices.. we don’t hook them in the invoice template, we didn’t do anything to it so it comes straight from the B2B king plugin to hook them, is this a known issue?

Hi Jelle,
Thank you for purchasing our plugin!
You can use B2BKing to configure a 0% VAT through tax exemptions. We have a guide for this here: https://woocommerce-b2b-plugin.com/docs/how-to-display-prices-excluding-tax-for-b2b-users-and-including-tax-for-b2c-users/

Looking forward to your response,
Kind regards,
