I have been able to make a change to the snippet so that it immediately moves the agent to the next group, even during the current order.
So if the agent has 0 sales, and an order is placed for 35000, it should immediately move the agent to 35000.
Regarding deposits specifically: is this the SUMO method named "PayPal Reference Transactions"? I tried placing an order with this method but it returned an API error during checkout.
However, it does move the user to the next group now.
