Hello, I wonder why when I add a VAT number during registration and select that the registered user is B2B in a registration form, the registered user is assigned to B2C group? I assumed that B2B in registration means B2B group. Do I need to add any rule for that?

    Hello Jure,

Thank you for purchasing our plugins,

There are a few things to look at here:

    1. Is the VAT number saved correctly to the user's profile? (can you see it if you edit the user's backend profile page?). If not, then it means there's a general issue and the account data is not being saved - usually it's caused by AJAX registration forms.

    2. Do B2B users require manual approval? If so, please note such a user is not yet part of a B2B group until their account is actually approved. This is normal as the user is basically in a pending state (not in a group yet) while they are waiting for approval.

    Looking forward to your response,

    Kind regards,

    Stefan

    and no manual approval needed.

    Thank you for clarifying,

Since the data is being saved correctly and you are not using approval, but the user is still not added to the B2B group, it may have to do with your role settings.

Please try going to B2BKing -> Registration Roles -> B2B and make sure to choose the B2B group here under "automatic approval to group":

If none of that can work, I am not sure what else it could be. In that case, it would be great if we could review your configuration directly to troubleshoot. For that, would it be possible to share a backend login to the site, or a staging clone site?

    Kind regards,

    Stefan
