Split Adaptive Payment is one of the best features in Payment Gateways.

The problem we face with Stripe is that they do not allow vendors from the Caribbean, and other small countries and Islands to use their Adaptive Payment System.

What is your advice if we are trying to help individuals in communities and countries by putting their professional products (Craft, fashion and natural products) online via our eCommerce platform.

I do have a Stripe account attached to my Chase Bank Account.

    Hi Theo,

If vendors cannot use the Stripe adaptive payments in their countries, you can still accept any payment method and manually pay vendors later.

You can let customers pay with any WooCommerce payment gateway (not just Stripe), and the site admin (you) would receive the payments. The plugin will keep track of how much is owed to each vendor, and then you can pay the vendor at a later time using any method (such as payoneer, paypal, wire transfer, etc.)

The Stripe adaptive method is useful to help do this automatically and relieve you of some of this payouts / administrative work, but if it cannot be used, you can still use any other gateway.

One other method I can mention is the 'split bank' option: https://woocommerce-multivendor.com/docs/split-bank-payments/ - this can be used to tell each customer to directly pay each vendor via wire transfer. I don't know whether it can be useful to you or not, I guess it only works for some niches / larger orders.

    Kind regards,

    Stefan
