If we change the role to something custom does that change any of the settings in b2b? Is anything tide to role on B2BKing?
Indeed B2BKing uses its own B2B groups rather than standard WP roles like customer, editor, etc. If you would like, you can change the default 'customer' role to something else, B2BKing would not have an issue with that.

Indeed B2BKing uses its own B2B groups rather than standard WP roles like customer, editor, etc. If you would like, you can change the default 'customer' role to something else, B2BKing would not have an issue with that.
It is also possible to make B2BKing use roles. For that, you can follow the steps in our guide here: https://woocommerce-b2b-plugin.com/docs/how-to-use-wp-roles-with-b2bking/
After following that, you will have a role for each B2BKing group and the plugin will also assign / sync group and role automatically.
