    Hi,

We are setting up the plugin but when we tested it we didnt see the following feature and I think this is necessary or maybe I missed something.

    1. When someone asked for a quote, the user or admin did not receive an email.

    2. When an admin from the backend created the offer, the user who asked for quote did note receive an email as well.

Please let me know how can I enable this. Thanks

    Hello Jiao,

Thank you for purchasing our plugin,

    (1) Please make sure that you have enabled the email in WooCommerce -> Settings -> Emails -> "New message / conversation".

When a customer sends a quote request, the admin would receive that email, for example:

If a logged in customer sends the request, they would be redirected to the my account messaging panel. If a logged out user does it, the logged out user also receives an email:

    (2) When creating an offer via the backend, please make sure the following checkbox is enabled:

Please make sure to also enable WooCommerce -> Settings -> Emails -> "You received a new offer!".

Besides these settings I mentioned, another possibility is that the emails are being sent technically but not reaching their destination, being stopped by spam or email filters. This is a very common issue that can be solved by installing and configuring a SMTP plugin such WP MAIL SMTP: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/

To check whether this is indeed the issue, a simple way is to use an email logging plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-logging/ - if the emails exist in the log, but do not reach the customer / admin, then this shows a SMTP problem.

    Kind regards,

    Stefan
