I am interested in the plugin but I have the following need: customers will access the store with the normal prices, but I would like the store prices to be different when a specific URL is accessed, for example mysite.com/wholesale.
Our plugin does not have prices by URL. Instead, what the plugin does is that it can change the price based on the currently logged in used. So for example, B2C users and logged out users can see the price as $100 for a product, but if a B2B user logs in, the price switches to $80 for that user.
At mysite.com/wholesale , you can have a 'wholesale portal' let's say with a login + registration form for wholesale users. If a wholesale user logs in from there, they will then see special pricing.
Generally regarding prices based only on URL, the problem we see with that is that it may be a bit confusing, for example if a customer views a product at one URL and then goes to a different URL and the price has changed and the customer does not understand why. Or perhaps the customer has used a URL, but then opens the site later on a different device and sees different pricing. That's why we feel the clearest way to approach it is with account-based pricing.
