Hybrid sites using subdomains

Hi we are planning to use WP multisite.  Our main site will be at https://.ourdomain.com which will be B2C and our trade site (b2b) will be installed on a subdomain  https://trade.ourdomain.com

Do you think the plugin will work ok on a subdomain?   And do you have any live examples of similar hybrid sites so that we can see how they look?

    Hello Rachel,

Thank you for getting in touch with us,

That kind of setup should be fine. We have seen it before and it is supported by our plugin. We also have a setting (optional) for this scenario that will prevent B2C users from accessing the trade site: https://prnt.sc/icHUUBFMc3Fl

Something to please note: in a multisite, products and inventory are not synced automatically across sites. The 2 multisite sites will behave as separate sites. Therefore if you want to sync that data you would need a plugin such as https://woomultistore.com/

To set up B2BKing, you would only install it on the trade.ourdomain.com site and choose its "B2B Mode" when configuring it.

I'm afraid I don't really have any examples of such sites. Our plugin primarily handles functionality, not design (which is mostly the function of the theme), so any client sites would not really represent our plugin,

Let me know if I can help with anything, or if you have any questions,

    Kind regards,

    Stefan
