We are evaluating B2BKing for our website. We provide an order portal to customers who may not wish to have their employees see the prices. How do we hide the prices from the employees but show them to the owner?
In another instance, we have a company that sells our product to other companies. I'm thinking these are sub-accounts. As with the employee situation, we wish to have the parent company view the prices, pay invoices, etc. but not have these tools available to the sub-accounts. Prices in both cases need to be hidden from orders and order confirmations.

While the plugin doesn't have a built-in setting for it, we can help with a custom code snippet to hide prices for subaccounts. We can send this to you as part of support.
However, if you hide prices for employees / subaccounts, they will not be able to place orders. They will only be able to view products, or to submit quote requests.
I'm afraid I don't think we have a way for them to be able to place regular orders, as we wouldn't be able to hide the price in all areas, order confirmation etc. A quote request would be the closest option.

Does the company only refer other companies and earn a commission? (or do they also process orders, hold inventory etc)
With SalesKing, each 'sales agent' can create affiliate links and earn a commission (e.g. 3% per order, or $10 per product etc), when an order is placed by a customer that used their link.
I think the flow could be:
Company A (the agent) sends an affiliate registration link to Company B (end customer).
Company B registers using that link. They can now browse the main shop with hidden prices.
Company B places a quote request.
The main site sends them an offer in response to the quote request. When the offer is purchased, the agent (A) earns a commission.

Hello Marnie,
Thank you for getting in touch with us,
We provide an order portal to customers who may not wish to have their employees see the prices. How do we hide the prices from the employees but show them to the owner?
B2BKing has a subaccounts feature ( https://woocommerce-b2b-plugin.com/docs/multiple-buyers-per-account-subaccounts/ ) that could generally be used for employees (each employee could have a subaccount).
While the plugin doesn't have a built-in setting for it, we can help with a custom code snippet to hide prices for subaccounts. We can send this to you as part of support.

If they basically only refer other companies to your site and earn a commission, I think maybe a better option is using the SalesKing plugin: https://kingsplugins.com/woocommerce-b2b/salesking/
