I’m using WooCommerce with the MarketKing Multi-Vendor Plugin and looking for a way to enable Split Payments with PayPal. Ideally, payments should be automatically divided—one part going directly to the vendors while the commission is sent to the admin.
Does anyone have experience with this or know if MarketKing supports PayPal Split Payments? If not, what alternatives are available to automate PayPal transactions on the platform?
Since PayPal is one of the most widely used payment methods, having a solution for this would be crucial, also to enhance the platform’s credibility.
I'm afraid MarketKing does not currently have a feature to automatically split payments by PayPal.
PayPal can be used but the way it would work is that the admin would receive the funds, and MarketKing keeps track of how much the admin owes each vendor. The admin would then later have to make payouts to vendors.
Any PayPal plugin for WooCommerce can be used.
This kind of split payments PayPal integration is very requested and is on top of our roadmap for payments, so this would definitely be the one we add next when work on a new split payments integration.
That said, it is quite complex, the current Stripe integration is the most complex part of the plugin, so it's not really something we can add very quickly, it requires a lot of work and careful testing.
