Hello, I have a problem when placing an order at checkout for a business customer—I cannot get the correct price to appear. I have categorized my customers into business and private customers. When I select a business customer and enter the tax ID number, only the price for private customers is displayed. Can this be changed?

    Hello Daniel,

In the flow you are working with, is the customer logged out when they are going to the checkout page?

If so, for a logged out business customer it is only possible to remove tax from the price (the customer can enter the tax number and VAT can be removed from the price automatically), but we cannot change prices completely.

If your goal is to have a completely different price for business customers, we must force the customer to login first.

To do this, one option is to disable guest checkout in WooCommerce settings: https://prnt.sc/ICSCXd__KVTi

Or if you prefer it, we could add some kind of message or link only for business customers (e.g. 'If you are a business customer please register / log in here')

Please let me know your thoughts on the above,

    Kind regards,

    Stefan

The problem occurs when I, as an admin, create an order in WooCommerce and select a B2B customer. Only the B2C price is displayed.

    Thank you for explaining,

When creating a WooCommerce manual order in the backend as admin, it is necessary to first select the customer in the list, and then add products to the order, for example:

(in the above video you can see how the price of the product is initially 100, but then after selecting a customer, it uses the price of that customer = 35).

I am not sure if you are using some other separate or custom order creation flow (you mentioned placing the order as admin / at checkout, I'm a bit unclear as to the specific steps you're taking as that doesn't sound standard). If you're using a different flow than above it would help if you can share screenshots or a quick recording so we can better understand.

    Kind regards,

    Stefan
