I was wondering if it is possible to give vendors a commission from other vendors that they get to sign up on my marketplace. I think this would be a super useful way of building a marketplace more quickly and it benefits everyone. Let me know if this is possible as I don't see it in the documentation.
Unfortunately, this is not available out of the box at the moment. It would require custom development to implement such a vendor referral/commission system.
I think you could handle something like this manually though, maybe by adding a "Who referred you" field during vendor registration.
I just tried this now via payment gateway 'cash on delivery' and it worked fine and it spilt the commission correctly.
Going forward if I can let vendors sell tickets for me and give them a commission like this, then I think it will be a game changer for me and my offerings
