B2C memberships are closed. We have three membership types: "Basic," "Pro," and "RESPONDER."
1.) The membership group (Customer Group) of those who register on our site automatically appears as B2C. I want all new members to automatically be assigned "Basic Member" status. How do I do this?
2.) After resolving this issue, I'd like to offer new members (currently B2C members) a 5% discount on their first order. To entice customers to become members, I'd appreciate it if you could tell me how to do this.
1. First, let's set up automatic "Basic" group assignment for new registrations: - Go to B2BKing -> Settings -> Registration and enable "Enable Dropdown & Fields" - In B2BKing -> Registration Roles, disable all existing roles - Create a new role named "Basic" with these settings: * "Approval required: No" * "Automatic Approval to Group: Basic" - Make sure this is the only enabled role
This way, when users register, they'll only have the Basic option (actually it gets hidden by default as there's just 1 option) and will be automatically assigned to that group.
2. For the 5% first-order discount: - Create a 5% discount in B2BKing -> Dynamic Rules that applies to the Basic group - In B2BKing -> Group Rules, create a rule that moves Basic users to Pro group when they reach a total spent of $1
This setup means new users will get the 5% discount on their first order (as Basic members), but after their first purchase, they'll automatically move to the Pro group and won't have access to the discount anymore.
Alternatively, if this doesn't work well with your existing group structure, you could create a new group like "Basic - 1st time discount" specifically for this purpose.
Let me know if you need any clarification on these steps!

Hi Kerim,
Glad to assist,
Here's how to achieve what you're looking for:
1. First, let's set up automatic "Basic" group assignment for new registrations:
- Go to B2BKing -> Settings -> Registration and enable "Enable Dropdown & Fields"
- In B2BKing -> Registration Roles, disable all existing roles
- Create a new role named "Basic" with these settings:
* "Approval required: No"
* "Automatic Approval to Group: Basic"
- Make sure this is the only enabled role
This way, when users register, they'll only have the Basic option (actually it gets hidden by default as there's just 1 option) and will be automatically assigned to that group.
2. For the 5% first-order discount:
- Create a 5% discount in B2BKing -> Dynamic Rules that applies to the Basic group
- In B2BKing -> Group Rules, create a rule that moves Basic users to Pro group when they reach a total spent of $1
This setup means new users will get the 5% discount on their first order (as Basic members), but after their first purchase, they'll automatically move to the Pro group and won't have access to the discount anymore.
Alternatively, if this doesn't work well with your existing group structure, you could create a new group like "Basic - 1st time discount" specifically for this purpose.
Let me know if you need any clarification on these steps!
Kind regards,
Stefan
