WooCommerce has built-in "backorders" functionality that allows purchasing products which are out of stock. You can enable this by going to each product → Inventory tab → set "Allow backorders" to "Allow" or "Allow, but notify customer".
B2BKing also has a feature in B2BKing → Settings → Other called "Always in stock for B2B" which applies only to B2B users, allowing them to always order all products (this is more for stores that have both B2C and B2B customers). If your shop is exclusively B2B, I think using WooCommerce's backorders functionality would be the best approach.
2. Custom "Restocking in progress" message:
Normally WooCommerce displays a message like "on backorder" on the frontend. I believe we can help with a custom code snippet to change that text to "Restocking in progress" instead.
Could you please confirm if the backorders functionality matches what you want to achieve? If so, I can look at writing a snippet to customize the text display.
Hello,
I purchased the B2BKing license for a private store selling professional clothing. However, I can’t find the configuration options for the following:
Allowing customers to place orders for products that are currently out of stock.
Displaying on the frontend, when a product is out of stock, the message: “Restocking in progress”.
Could you please let me know if these features are available in B2BKing, and if so, how to configure them?
Thank you in advance for your help.
Hi Pascale,
Thank you for purchasing B2BKing!
