I have turned off tiered pricing since we will not need it. We need the price per customer group. However, when I edit/add a new product tiered pricing still shows. I have to unselect, update and only then can I add the customer group prices.
Where can I turn this off so default is no tiered pricing but price per price group?
Configuring tiered pricing is optional, so you should be able to simply leave those fields empty, in which case the tiered table is automatically disabled for the product.
To clarify, you should see a page like this when editing products: https://prnt.sc/hEAIpzPSspVL where you have group prices (highlighted in red) and tiered prices below.
You can simply leave the price tiers section empty and enter only group prices (like in my screenshot above). When configured this way, the tiered table won't display to customers - only the group prices will apply.
Or are you seeing something else when configuring a product? I want to make sure you are not experiencing some kind of UI issue or conflict that's preventing you from setting group prices.
