I'm having a hard time configuring the Request for Quote option on B2Bking. I looked at your documentations and followed all the steps but it doesn't seem to work.

I also added a custom field for the Product Inquiry but it doesn't show on the page. I'm not sure if I'm missing some steps or it's just not working.

My goal is to hid prices from non-logged in users and for the logged in users to be able to send a Request for Quote to the Vendor.

    Hi Marwan,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Regarding the quote issue, usually, you need to make sure nothing else is hiding prices - only the quote settings should handle that.

Could you please check B2BKing -> Settings -> Access Restriction -> Guest Access Restriction? Set this to "None" or "Request a Quote". It should not be set to "Hide Prices" or "Hide Shop".

Similarly, in B2BKing -> Dynamic Rules, you shouldn't have "Hidden Price" rules active. Instead, please use only a "Replace prices with quotes" rule.

Regarding the missing field, please make sure to clear all site caches, as that often causes new fields not to display immediately.

It would also help to understand a bit more about what you are seeing vs. what you are expecting to see.

If you'd like, I can also troubleshoot this directly on your site to see what's configured and what might be missing. For that, I would need a backend admin login to the site (or a staging clone).

    Kind regards,
    Stefan

    Hi Marwan,

    Thanks for the login credentials,

    (1) First, I found a conflict between B2BKing and the XStore Sales Booster Quantity Discounts module. I have disabled that module as the two are not compatible, which should resolve some of the issues you were seeing.

    (2) Regarding the custom field you created (link here), this field is specifically for B2BKing quotes. It becomes visible in the cart area when requesting a quote, as seen here: Screenshot (after clicking "Request custom quote" at checkout).

It seems you were looking for this field to appear in the "Product Inquiry" tab on the product page. That specific tab is part of MarketKing's inquiries module, which is designed as a simple text message field and does not currently support adding custom fields.

    (3) I also adjusted the visibility settings for you. Currently, the site is configured as follows:

    - Logged-out users: Cannot see prices, cannot add to quote.
    - Logged-in users: Can see prices, can add to quote.

I wasn't sure if this is exactly the setup you wanted. Could you please clarify your preference for each group so I can make sure it's perfect?

    1. Logged-out: Should they see prices? Can they add to a quote request?
    2. Logged-in: Should they see prices? Can they add to a quote request?

    Kind regards,
    Stefan
