If you go to B2BKing -> Registration Fields -> VAT, there is a "VIES" checkbox you can enable. Please take a look at this screenshot: https://prnt.sc/b8NSiSf94hOs
This is actually our recommended approach rather than checking it at checkout as it will be the most reliable way to handle it.
To clarify how it works: the validation is applied automatically when the registration form is submitted. If validation fails, the user will see an error and won't be able to complete the registration.
