Feature Request - Dynamic Rules to be displayed on User

    Hi team,

Just a request for a feature to resolve an issue I find extremely frustrating.  We tend to change customers pricing often, from one set of dynamic Rules to another, and it is difficult to find which Rules have been applied to each user and customer.  We need to keep a separate database to look up this info, which obviously isn't updated, and then find and remove the customer from one rule and add to a new one.  That said, the customers listed under each rule are in random order or in date order that they were added to the Rule, they used to be alphabetical.

Would it be at all possible, as you now have the CRM module displayed under the user, to add another Tab for Dynamic Pricing?  Even if it isn't linked to the Rule, if we can see a list of all the Dynamic and other Rules that are applied to a given User / Customer, we can then easily manage any changes.  If it is a link to the actual Rule would be even better, but the list will be a life saver and a great improvement.

Would be great if the Rules listed the Users applied to them in alphabetical order, by Username or Display name also.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi George,

Thank you for the feedback on this,

I see your point and I agree - I think the right direction is to add a Rules tab under the CRM/Customers page showing all rules applicable to that customer, especially rules where the customer is selected individually by username.

We need a bit more time to look into the implementation. The challenge is getting the calculation / performance right, especially for sites with thousands or more rules. It needs to be a very fast check.

We are looking into this and I will try to get back to you with an update later this week,

    Kind regards,

    Stefan

    Hi Stefan,

Sorry, I have been swamped for the past month, and I have not had a chance to look at this.
Is the attached b2bking-5544.zip still the latest version for me to test this out?
I just downloaded it and wondering if I should replace the 5.2.10 that is currently installed or Update it to the 5.2.20 as shown in Wordpress?

Let me know ASAP before I proceed.

    Cheers

    Hi George,

No worries, thanks for getting back to us.

In the meantime this feature has been shipped officially, so you no longer need the attached zip file. Just update to the latest official versions of B2BKing Core and B2BKing Pro from your WordPress dashboard and you should have the new Rules tab available.

Let me know how it goes once you've had a chance to test it out.

    Kind regards,
    Stefan

    Hi George,

Yes, there was a filter issue in the last update that affected the bulk order form results. Your solution with that snippet is exactly right.

You can safely increase it to 80 or 100 if you'd like - just keep an eye on page load times, but it should be fine for most setups.

Appreciate the feedback on the Rules tab - we will look at extending it with more functionality in the future.

    Kind regards,
    Stefan
