Say we've enabled the new "multiple agents per customer" feature and I want to confirm how commission is attributed in a sequential-purchase scenario.
Example: 1. A customer first places an order via Agent A (and is assigned to Agent A). 2. About a month later, the same customer interacts with Agent B and places a second order using Agent B's referral link.
My questions: - Who receives the commission on that second order — the agent whose link was used (Agent B), or the originally assigned/main agent (Agent A)? - Does using Agent B's link reassign the customer to Agent B, add Agent B as an additional agent, or leave Agent A as the primary? - How will commission be attributed on the customer's future orders after this point?
In that scenario, the second order would still be attributed to Agent A, as they are the customer's assigned/main agent. Agent B's referral link does not override an existing agent assignment.
To answer your specific questions:
- Agent A receives the commission on the second order, since they remain the customer's assigned agent.
- Using Agent B's link does not reassign the customer to Agent B, and it does not automatically add Agent B as an additional agent either. The "multiple agents per customer" feature is meant for allowing multiple agents to manage/access the same customer - it also doesn't change the primary assigned agent or redirect commissions.
- Future orders will continue to be attributed to Agent A.
Let me know if you are trying to set it up to work in a different way and I can take a look at what's possible.
Hi Stefan,
Say we've enabled the new "multiple agents per customer" feature and I want to confirm how commission is attributed in a sequential-purchase scenario.

- Does using Agent B's link reassign the customer to Agent B, add Agent B as an additional agent, or leave Agent A as the primary?
- How will commission be attributed on the customer's future orders after this point?
Thanks for clarifying.
Hi Marcus,
Thanks for reaching out,
