I am currently úsing "Sales Agent for WooCommerce" and it gives me these 3 problems:

    1. comission does not update on order edit - ie., when using partial refunds or discounts post order
    2. comission dissappears if order status changes, ie. from on hold to awaiting back to onhold blanks the comission
    3. we want comission to be calculated on order completed ONLY.

Can SalesKing do better? Give me honest assesment of our needs vs SalesKing

    Hi Prokop,

    Thanks for getting in touch,

2 & 3. Order status behavior: By default, SalesKing calculates the commission when an order is placed, but it stays in a "pending" state. Only when the order reaches Completed status is the commission actually assigned and added to the agent's earnings.

If the order later changes from Completed back to Processing, the commission is removed from earnings and moved back to pending, and if it's completed again it's re-assigned.

So the commission doesn't disappear or blank out with status changes. What changes is that the commission can move between an assigned and a pending state. The commission is assigned / credited only on Completed.

    1. Commission updates on order edit:

Commissions do not update automatically when you edit an order. However, when saving an order there is a "Recalculate Commissions" checkbox you can check to force a recalculation: https://prnt.sc/3FkxCa7tv6fz.

That recalculation depends on how the commission was originally calculated, so it is less reliable than the initial calculation. Sometimes it may not recalculate the way you want (it's difficult because the exact flow that applied initially, the link clicked, the specific commission rule, what cookies were in browser etc, may no longer be present in the order). It's easier if you have just a simple commission rule (e.g. 10% on all orders for all agents).

If necessary, you can always edit the commission manually in the order edit panel as well.

It's hard for me to say with certainty how it will behave with your exact workflow, but if you'd like to give it a try, we have a 14-day money back guarantee you can use for testing.

    Kind regards,
    Stefan
